Pitcher Takes 106-mph Line Drive to the Head
Just walk it off.
Most of the time, baseball is kinda boring, which may be why 81 percent of people watching live are drinking during the game. However, it’s occasionally pretty exciting — and incredibly dangerous.
At a spring training game for the Los Angeles Dodgers against the Chicago Cubs, pitched Bobby Miller whipped a 100-plus mph fastball. While this isn’t particularly unique for Miller, what happened next was: the batter returned the ball at the same speed straight into his head.
Somehow, Miller managed to walk away from the incident, though the team now has him rightfully in the concussion protocol.
